2011 ~ The Learning Curve

Well hello lovelies, i feel like its been forever i sat and just well blogged! the normal schedule will resume, promise, but i  had to post something, sitting on the brink of a new year, makes everyone come over all reflective right?

Well this year has been a massive learning curve. my first year as a blooger, yeah i have been tied to my laptop, but you know what its been great. that in it self for me is an achievement.

I have went from wondering if anyone is reading to having stats that are just beyond what i ever imagined. so thank you for coming on this blogging adventure with me, cant wait to share my new dreaming & scheming plans with you.

My little girls started school and nursery, ans so the school run began, and i became one of those people that say, "oh not on a school night"

we welcomed a little nephew and niece into the family, i swear they make me broody every time i see them.

I moved to Manchester, and 6 months later, I'm kind of loving it!

I saw that what is for you, won't go by you!

I followed my heart

I developed thinker skin

Tried to become self employed, and failed, which was a little depressing at the time, but in a way has helped in the long run, it made me realise i was trying to run before i could walk.

I'm sure i learned, and did way more than the above this year, but im having mental block ~ whats your plans for next year? mine are as follows ~

Weekend Hair & Links! Christmas Edition

I've been feeling a little rough the last few couple of days, so I thought i would take the opportunity to wind down for the Christmas holidays, and spend some time with the family. Cue a song to some it all up ~

Before I was attacked by this mysterious bug, i had the chance to met some really wonderful ladies on Wednesdays at a Tweet Up in Manchester, some of them do vintage, which i love, so cant wait to share.

Now I cant promise to be back by next week, as a fair bit of work will be going on behind the scenes but i will be updating my other blog a little more, with details about blogging and moving to wordpress, {oh and attacking the boxing day sales} also from the new year I'll also be doing some more wedding planning/styling, so need some time to work out the logistic of that.

but in the meantime, here are some hair & makeup inspiration ~

{"Eccellente" with these Links, you're really spoiling us" }

Is it just me or has this year gone by soo quickly...actually find I'm saying that every year now?

Lots of Christmasy Love Rabbia xoxo

Aysha & Michael Mehndi Dance Sequence by UniqueFilms

The song featured in this film, never fails to get anyone up to dance, shot in slow motion, it has a very music video feel to it. Its all about trying something new...

Wedding Invitation in Pantones Colour of the Year 2012 "Tangerine Tango"

Pantones Colour of the Year 2012 is "Tangerine Tango"

“Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”

Since we like to be one step ahead, here are some brand new invitations by Ananya Cards in of course the colour of 2012

I really like these, so warm & colourful, start the year as you mean to go on right!?

Inspiration Board - Winter White Wedding

This is for a really lovely lady, that wanted some winter ideas for a wedding, so first i thought we would get in the mood!

So pretty, isn't it? I still get really excited, when it snows, but if only it wasn't so damn is it cold!! brrr..
Its all about being inspired by the snow, so the colour of choice, is white. Add touches of silver or gold, or even a deep shade if you like, but try keep the overall look clean & crispy just like snow. Adding lights and candles will add warmth.

Asian Brides can really rock the white look, but i also really like the idea of you being that pop of colour, against the clean white background.
